Dedicated Educators Committed to Your Child’s Growth

At Woodside West School, we are dedicated to nurturing the whole child. Our programs are designed to inspire a natural love of learning, support the development of positive social skills, and build a healthy self-image—all within a safe, caring, and engaging environment. We believe that early childhood is a precious time, and we strive to create meaningful experiences that children will carry with them for a lifetime.

A Bit of History

Woodside West School was founded on June 14, 1974, by Patricia Dumbadse with a vision to provide children with developmentally appropriate early childhood education alongside quality child care—all in one nurturing environment. As a privately owned and operated school, we have proudly served families in the Santa Rosa community for over 50 years, supporting children through their many stages of growth and learning. Our program continues in the same tradition and vision by Diana Dumbadse who is the owner and director.

Our Teachers and Staff

At Woodside West School, our teachers and staff are compassionate, capable, and deeply committed to nurturing young children. Each member of our team brings a unique background and skill set, united by a shared goal: to provide children with joyful, meaningful early school experiences. Our staff includes credentialed teachers, early childhood education specialists, seasoned preschool educators, former public school aides, college students pursuing degrees in education, and high school students in occupational training programs exploring the world of teaching. We value the enthusiasm, dedication, and diverse perspectives they bring to our classrooms. As a state-licensed facility, all staff members meet or exceed the required qualifications and undergo thorough fingerprinting and background checks to ensure a safe and secure environment for every child.
